There are a hundred ways people can build the anti cuts movement and we urge everyone reading this to do what they can to help mobilise more people into campaign activities. Here are a few ideas:
- Join us at one or events in the events listing on the right of his page;
- Get your trade union or campaign group to support or join the Oxfordshire Anti Cuts Alliance;
- Help to build our events by talking to your friends, family and workmates about why we should unite to stop the cut;
- Join us handing out leaflets and posters to bring others to the campaign events;
- Pass on the word using emails, facebook and other internet forums; link tous on your site, blog of social network site;
- Organise a stunt to highlight an area of the cuts - don't forget to let us know as we can help with speakers, publicity and people to help;
- Sign and circulate our petitions;
- Write in protest against cuts to your local MP, council chiefs and the press;
- Let us know your ideas for campaigning and any cuts we haven't yet mentioned on our website.
We are curently looking for volunteers to help run street stalls and distribute materials to homes, clubs and shops to inform the the public about the cuts.
